I meant to post this the second we left the park February 21, 2023 but life happens! This is a fantastic stop off for visiting Ft Davis. The best part of this RV park is Buster the owner! We had a broken leaf spring and he helped us for hours trying to get it changed out. He is a sweetheart of a man and was really concerned about us being whole as we left the campground. He brought tools and was hands on helping us which blew our minds. So awesome, so kind and so helpful! Thank you so much Buster!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.ll coolApril 15, 2024Truly an RV park only. They do allow tents but, can't stake them down. Winds can be very strong! Tents without stakes could be an issue! We tied ours to our truck. Spots were level and had full hook-ups. Bathroom and laundry were very clean and well maintained. Park was well maintained. Service was awesome with good communication. Park. Very little shade. Trees are planted but will be a few years.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Brian McAchranApril 2, 2024Great location for exploration of local area. There is a single bathroom with a shower on the lot which was clean. They have a laundry room but I am not sure how many units were there as I never went inside. The owner, Pam, drove up soon after we arrived to give us a welcome packet with info about things to do along with a sample of pecans from the nut house down the street. Also has WiFi.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Coleman McDonaldMarch 12, 2024There is not much to this park, but it is well run and clean. The spots were spacious, level, and all the hookups were functional. The laundry and bath facilities onsite were very clean. Road noise was not a problem for us and the cell reception was good. Great budget place to use as your HQ to explore the state park, observatory, old fort, etc.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Teresa MooreFebruary 22, 2024Went to the top of the mountain lookout. Fabulous. Enen with the crazy twisting road to the top. Shouldn't be missed. Lodge/restaurant wasn't open, under going renovations.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Rosie RaneyDecember 15, 2023Our first trip there! We hiked daily and watched wildlife. Three of our grandchildren went with us, and all of them got a junior ranger patch.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Manuel “Manny”November 20, 2023This is a budget-priced RV park that is a okay RV park to stay at if you don't need more than the standard RV connections of water, electricity, and a sewer connect. I stayed here after visiting the McDonald Observatory. It is a short distance when you get to the foot of the mountain leaving the observatory-- about 15 minutes away.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Geof MeyerNovember 16, 2023This is our go-to RV park when in Fort Davis. The sites are not as crowded as typical private RV parks and they're adding improvements every year like a laundry, bath house, large covered pavilion, and additional wi-fi. Our cell phone coverage (ATT & T-Mobile) is very good.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Dusty WellsNovember 7, 2023Just laid our heads down for the night...
